Description
A painting that i did for CGtalk's Grand Space Opera compatition. The story behind this is a war has just ended and people are being rescued. The title "eripere" is i think escape in latin.Anywayy this is my first propper painting on Photoshop, so crits will be very nice to tell me how to improve.

It is very good anyway.
The background is definitely the strongest part of the picture. I love the colour and depth. I think perhaps the characters aren't quite up to the same standard.
Excellent work. Infact, I think overall it's good enough for a max from me.

This is not a crit as such, just a little food for thought: As a viewer I find it more frustrating to see work of genuine talent marred by either lazyness or carelessness than it is to see work that demonstrates no ability what so ever.
Given your age and the standard of your work I would say that you have a bright and successful future to look forward to...However, remember the old adage about good work being 10% inspiration and 90% persperation...Painting is hard work!!...be prepared ALWAYS to put that work in!
Top marks though and I look forward to seeing more of your pics.
